In the heart of Clyde North’s growing St Germain precinct, we completed a project that celebrates creativity, community, and connection. As part of the broader St Germain masterplanned development, the Saint Germain Community Hub is designed to become a cultural and social hub for residents and visitors alike, blending art, craft, and practical services under one roof.
Partnering with Jardon Group, we were engaged to supply and install the full steel frame package for this multipurpose facility, which will house an art gallery, a pottery studio, a maintenance store, and a fully operational workshop. It’s a place where community members can explore creative pursuits, upskill, and enjoy hands-on activities in a welcoming and thoughtfully designed environment.
Our involvement in the project began in our Pakenham facility, where we fabricated over 1,500lm of TRUECORE® steel wall frames and more than 800lm of roof trusses to support the structure. These components were then delivered directly to site in timed stages to ensure a seamless installation process. All wall frames, roof trusses, and structural steel were fully erected in under a week — a testament to detailed planning, clear communication, and the experience of our on-site team.
This project exemplifies the value of our all-in-one process. With in-house design, fabrication, supply, and installation, we’re able to maintain strict control over timelines, safety, and build quality at every stage. On a project like Saint Germain, multiple zones within the building have their own purpose and aesthetic requirements This integrated approach allowed us to respond quickly to any changes and deliver with precision.
More than just a construction project, the Saint Germain Community Hub is about creating a space that supports wellbeing, creativity, and community life. We’re proud to contribute to developments that bring people together and offer real value to growing neighbourhoods. With the masterplan continuing to unfold, we’re excited to have played a part in shaping a precinct that places people and purpose at its core.
